Being trying to justify why things are done this way and that way. Trying to think of good reasons to keep myself going forward and not back. I was not convinced with the way tutors instruct students and the way the students "blindly" following behind. And function and industrial value of the product is always placed most important compared to formal aesthetics. This shift of emphasis suddenly strikes me as perhaps i have been missing THE point. SO this
is form follow function! That's probably why italian designs are always known to be very real and functional. Formal appeal becomes an additional value, so even though the product may not look good, it is always good or innovative in function. In this sense, it is nonetheless a successful product, compared to a product developed based on formal aspects but not acheiving its primary function.
