Freakingly calm despite exams coming in 2weeks (not to mention some speaker submission). It's like calm before the storm??? Some quote.......HmmmM...
Amazed to only realise NOW tt design is so much more than aesthetics - esp industrial design. Now i vaguely start to remember those design articles on idea solutions and systems and stuff which sounded so foreign to me once that were so often featured in magazines. (Now still do actually.) Wonder how i managed to score so well last year? I must have been extremely lucky. Kinda embarrassing that I only realise the other side(s) of design til now....i have all along thought that form is everything, used to be bewildered how visually "okie" products wins prestigious awards and respects...Hmmm. Abit regret on choosing this course to b frank. It's getting more systematic, more on creativity in design solutions (something which i'm not expecting and not prepared), more ........aesthetically wrong, Suddenly, design becomes so alien to me. I just wanna snuggle back to painting.
Utterly disgusted at myself sometimes...my attitude towards studio; the conflicting opinions from my head and from my tutors (they seem to be fighting all the time, but recently i curbed my fantasy ambitious ideas and end up hating myself; the shallow things i said to people, pretending i cared when i secretly just don't wanna be left out of the commotion....have been subconsciously thinking and rethinking about what was different this year...Have been integorrating myself to find out wat's wrong. No effect. To think i actually start counting my predicted cap for this sem to emotionally prepare myself, i tink i'm juz a freak inside.
